Embracing New Beginnings: A Warm Welcome to Behind the Scenes

Hi there folks! Welcome to my blog. In this year of 2024 I have decided to make some fun changes in my life and I want to be able to share it all with you. A little about me; I am one of the actors working today who is comfortable working across genres and mediums. I have played everything from strong independents to ditzy best friends. My good sense of humor, quirkiness and warmth hints at the surprises underneath my looks and confident exterior.

Let's Take it From the Top...

My First Dance Recital

I grew up with my two younger siblings in the suburbs right outside Philadelphia, PA. At an early age, it was blatantly clear to my family I was musically inclined. One instance that has been ingrained in my memory, as a preschooler, I attended a production of Annie at the Walnut Street Theatre, where after the performance I immediately looked up at my Mom and asked "...when can I do that?" From that eventful day, I immediately began my theatrical pursuits by beginning dance training at ContempraDANCE studio, performing in theatre classes at the Music Training Centre, joining community theatre productions, and being a part of every middle school musical production. I never missed any opportunity to perform.

I continued towards my theatrical dreams by attending the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) as a vocal major and dance minor. Under the guidance of Dorina Morrow and LaDeva Davis, I honed in on my career path and strived for much more.

Upon my graduation from CAPA, I continued to fuel my ambitions by enrolling and attending Millikin University where I received advanced training in acting, dance, and vocal technique. I was fortunate enough (prior to the pandemic) to attend a semester abroad in the amazing city of London where I studied Shakespeare and performed on the stage of The Globe Theatre.

This semester was a dream come true, and I fell in love with theatre even more. My education was and still is very important to me; my academic dedication shone through and was on the Dean's list each semester and I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance Minor.

Upon graduating college, I have been rather successful. I have been constantly working professionally for about four years. I recently moved down to Atlanta, GA where I have been performing in plays, musicals, and short films for the past year and a half.

Atlanta has been a wild ride so far, and I am excited what the future holds for me down here. Atlanta isn't forever, but it is a great start. I have so many new friends and colleagues who continue to support and push me, and I am constantly learning so many new things about myself.
